Marleen Danel

Marleen Danel is member of the Teaching and Research Staff at ICLON, Graduate School of Teaching and the Educational Studies department, both at Leiden University. Here she is mainly involved in tutorial teaching, course design , thesis supervision and educational research.

Working as a university teacher herself, she has hands on experience with applying Blended Learning principles. Examples are using a script to structure online collaboration in a Virtual Research Environment, creating online rubric-based peer feedback assignments and constructing an online academic toolkit for students who would like to boost their information skills.
